I hope it will become a modern discourse on the contemporary world of popular and not-yet popular culture, art, music, politics, and entertainment. I hope it will be tasteful, sophisticated, fun, nerdy, and equal parts cerebral and guilty pleasure.

  1. VP Debates, the bailout, and other inside the beltway news are all VP needs—it is content rich times—but I wanted to reach out in regards to the artist Brett Dennen. I saw all of your video posts and hoped you might be interested in Brett. I am working with him and his new album Hope for the Hopeless out October 21 on Downtown Records; Downtown have also released Gnarls Barkley, Cold ward Kids, and Carla Bruni’s record Comme Si De Rien N’était (As if Nothing Had Happened) of French pop and folk.

    I wanted to offer Brett’s new song “Make You Crazy,” which was recently featured as the song of the week on iTunes, to you.
